The Peach House Holiday Cottage sits on a leafy bend of the River Eden at the foot of Cumbria’s Pennine slopes. Fashioned from a substantial stone-built Georgian peach house, it is a delightful, secluded hideaway surrounded by meadows, open farmland and fells, just five minutes’ walk to the village shop and post office, and a ten-minute stroll past the village green to the local pub. The Peach House is fully equipped to make your holiday as comfortable and peaceful as possible. With oak floors and rustic tiles, it is tastefully decorated throughout. There is one double and one twin bedroom, a dining room and spacious living room equipped with TV and DVD. French doors lead to the patio above a meadow by the River Eden. The kitchen (with washing machine) and bathroom are airy, bright and in contemporary style. Modern insulation keeps the house cool in summer, cosy in winter. |
